Clear History
In the folder History  your Internet browser saves the links to webpages you have recently visited. If you empty this folder you will erase all links to sites you have visited. Open Internet  Explorer, open Extra and go to Internet-opties. Go to Algemeen and click on Geschiedenis wissen. Here you can indicate for waht period you want to save the history.

Clear temporary memory
Webbrowsers use a temporary memory called 'cache'. Recently visited pages and images are saved here. The advantage of this is that your browser does not need to make new contact with Internet each time you use the Terug-knop. The browser checks if the page is still in the cache.
If you want to clear your internet history completely you will also need to empty your cache.
Open Extra and choose Internetopties. Click on the button Bestanden verwijderen which you find under the title Tijdelijke Internet-bestanden, tab Algemeen.
